Renew is an event companion app for Renew 2026, produced by the Dream Collective, a ministry of National Community Church ("NCC," "we," "us"). It shows the event schedule, venue map, experiences, and announcements, and can send you push notifications about the event.
Push notification tokens. If you enable alerts, your device or browser generates a notification token (via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, and on Apple devices Apple's push service) that lets us send you messages. This token identifies your device for delivering notifications — it is not tied to your name or any other personal profile we hold.
Standard hosting logs. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring. We don't use this to build a profile of you.
Nothing else. The app does not have accounts, sign-in, or a personal profile. We don't collect your name, email address, or location, and we don't use advertising trackers or sell any information to anyone.
If you register or purchase a ticket for Renew, that happens through Brushfire, a separate ticketing service, not inside this app. Brushfire's own privacy policy governs information you give them there. The app may link out to your Brushfire ticket, but does not receive or store your registration details.
Notification tokens are kept only for the duration of the event and a short period after, then deleted. You can also stop notifications at any time in your device's notification settings, which removes your device from future delivery.
We use a small number of service providers to run the app: our hosting provider, and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service to deliver push notifications. They process information only to provide that service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments, and we do not permit them to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Renew is a general-audience event app for a church conference. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the device-level notification token described above, which is not linked to a name or other identity. The app is served entirely over HTTPS and is built with a restrictive content policy that limits what can run on the page. No system is perfectly secure, but we don't hold the kind of information (accounts, payment details, government IDs) that would make a breach here especially damaging.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location. The only device-level permission it asks for is notification permission, and only if you choose to enable alerts.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and change the effective date below. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
